Dulce de leche bakery has amazing empanadas and orange juice. They have so many pastry options to pick from. The ambiance in here is welcoming and it is typically always busy. The service is okay just because they do take long to give you your one empanada. You have to standby and wait almost ten minutes for just one empanada that was heated up in the microwave. 10/10 recommend this bakery. Great bakery to pick up your morning coffee and breakfast or to even sit down with a friend. They sell holiday and birthday cakes.

When tasked with bringing dessert to our Thanksgiving celebration, I struggled finding a place in Hoboken to order from. I decided to look for bakeries in the heights and landed on Dulce de Leche. I had heard good things about this spot from friends who live nearby. We ordered our desserts a couple weeks in advance for pick-up Thanksgiving morning at 11:30 am. When I walked into the bakery, the place was insane! A long line of people waiting to order at the counter nearly to the front door and another small group of people waiting for the pick-up order table. I waited a few minutes to give them my name/order and then another 5-10 minutes for the worker to bring out the goods. Everything was organized and packaged neatly. Even though it was packed in there, they had a good order of operations. There's also a good amount of tables & seating inside if you wanted to enjoy your coffee or desserts in house. We ordered a pumpkin cheesecake (since they didn't have traditional pumpkin pie on the holiday menu) and an apple crumble pie. Both cakes were delicious and generous portions! I really loved the pumpkin cheesecake. We also ordered some of the turkey cupcakes for the kids which were really cute. I would order desserts for a party from here again. The pricing was reasonable & everything was tasty. The only drawback is trying to find parking on Central Ave!

While exploring the area on a Sunday morning, I stumbled upon this delightful bakery that was abuzz with activity. The empanadas were incredibly soft with a perfectly flaky crust--easily among the best I've had in a long time. The croissant was equally impressive. The service was excellent and the food in the display looked mouth wateringly delicious. I can't wait to return for more!

The house cake is delicious, not overly sweet and always fresh. They have tons of pastries which are also really good and perfect choice for a party since there's something for everyone. There is always a line so be prepared to wait but you'll be happy you did.

Amazing bakery on a main street Central Ave in the heights section of Jersey City. You'll find a lot of Latino eateries in this section of JC but this is one my favorites in the area. I ordered a Cortado for coffee this particular time and a small guava pastry, made in house. Cortado was made perfectly, and the girls at the counter always ask you if you want sugar which I did. You could also tell that the pastry was made that day, and you could see the bakers coming in and out replacing fresh pastries every couple of minutes because they are busy! They also have tons of cakes and food options too. I decided to sit on the stool facing the outside street and people watch for a bit while sipping on my coffee.

Mmmmm. Tres Leches! This gem of a bakery serves delicious cakes and pastries. Their tres leches cake is super moist, not too sweet and filled with what I think is peaches. The fruit makes it stand out from other tres leches cakes. It is also a nice contrast of crunchy juiciness in between all the cream. I was also delighted to find alfajores, a little cookie and jam " sandwich", and this is the first time I've actually seen it outside of Argentina. Will be back!
